The first IPA brewed in the Matuška brewery combines Czech and American hops. The type of IPA comes from the 19th century in England. The IPA was exported by East India Company to India, where England had colonies. The beer had to survive a long boat trip in a warm environment, and therefore it was brewed stronger and more hop-like. Hops protect beer against harmful bacteria. For our Raptor, we used a mixture of Czech, English and American ingredients using our cooking process.
